ABC Exhibition Trailer
The ABC Exhibition Touring Trailer was first conceived in 2001 as a means of taking the ABC to all parts of Australia and provide a "one-stop-shop" showcasing all ABC products and services.
The ABC Exhibition Trailer was launched to the public in September 2002 and since then, it has been on the road visiting every major state and territory capital and many regional centres.
This year, the ABC Exhibition Trailer will be stopping by the ABC Gardening Australia Expo in Sydney.
The trailer features a television and radio studio, which can be used to demonstrate the magic of television or feature junior radio broadcasting. ABC1 and ABC2 are represented with three large wide screen moniters featuring upcoming attractions and a display of local digital broadcasting.
There is an ABC Shop display featuring the most popular and up-to-date products from ABC Commercial. Computer displays use state of the art technology to present the latest interactive games and sites found on the ABC website, www.abc.net.au. The display has something for everyone from online tours of various ABC radio stations to pre-school and youth interective sites.
