Stephen Ryan

New host of ABC TV's Gardening Austraila, horticulturalist, author and broadcaster, Stephen Ryan started his own nursery almost 30 years ago and has been a passionate plant collector ever since. Viewers of Gardening Australia will recognise Stephen from his many appearances on the program featuring his stunning cool climate garden 'Tugurium' in Macedon, Victoria.

Sophie Thomson

Sophie is the South Australian presenter of ABC TV's Gardening Australia and she also writes for Gardening Australia magazine and The Sunday Mail. An infectious enthusiasm for plants and gardens has made Sophie a popular guest speaker for garden clubs and plant societies, as well as gardening & lifestyle events.

John Patrick

John Patrick is a landscape architect who has been writing about gardening for over 20 years. John has written a number of books, including The Australian Garden and he also organised and wrote the guidebook Victoria's Open Garden Scheme, and later on Australia's Open Garden Scheme. John now lectures and travels extensively in pursuit of gardens and his practice has taken him all over Australia.
